Mike and I decided to find a place in the Paseo District of NW OKC. We both loved the area and the houses. We knew we'd probably pay more for rent, but to me the switch is well worth it. We are so close to everything as far as shopping and dining, the houses have so much more character, and it's super close to my new job. Also, there are four parks in walking distance to our house as well as the downtown Paseo area so there is always something to do. Our new place is quite a bit smaller than our last apartment.... probably even half of the size, but we both know that we won't be living in this house for more than two years, and quite frankly.... the bigger space we have the more we tend to fill it up with things that we don't need. Therefore, downgrading to our new place was super refreshing because it allowed us to get rid of things that we never even used.
